NOTICE OF UPCOMING GENERAL FACULTY GENERAL ELECTION

Declarations for Candidacy for twenty Faculty Senate at-Large Representatives, five seats for the Committee of Eleven, two seats on the Nominating Committee, and two seats for elected faculty representatives to the Strategic Planning and Budget Advisory Committee (SPBAC) will be available onlineat the Faculty Governance website, (click on Elections) beginning on Monday, January 11, 2021 continuing through Friday, January 22, 2021.

Voting members of the General Faculty may nominate themselves.

The form on the Faculty Elections website is set up to allow only members of the General Faculty to declare the candidacy. For information on criteria for membership in the General Faculty, see the Article II, Section 1 of the Faculty Constitution at:

In the Declaration of Candidacy form, candidates are requested to provide a paragraph of 300 words or less, to be used for publicity purposes and for the ballot, describing their interest and qualifications they are (or continue to be) interested in and their willingness to hold the office. You must submit a declaration for each seat you run for.

All Declarations for Candidacy must be submitted online by 5:00 P.M. Friday, January 22, 2021.
