• Last session, Cl I members tried to distinguish emerging university mission and governance challenges amidst rapidly transforming external changes.
• What are possible/likely outcomes? conflicts? impacts on facult and our missions? overall university academic standing? costs? competitiveness? academic freedom?
• What strategic approaches are being taken? How helpful or relevant are the governing laws, regulations, and even our strategic imperatives in navigating the changes?
• Should the UA continue down a path of capital-intensity and executive accumulation or pivot toward a low-capital, high-impact mission strategy rooted in academic excellence, efficiency, and transparency? Options?

C11 -the Committee of Eleven, eleven faculty members and student representatives publicly deliberate on overarching university issues. Founded right after World War 11, C11 investigates, initiates, promotes, and stimulates actions to overarching University of Ariana issues. C11 reports to the General Faculty, who elect them, and the Faculty Senate. When they authorized, it may also speak on behalf of the General Faculty.
